Immersed in the Beautiful Campus Journey

As an exchange student at National Dong Hwa University, I fortuitously enrolled in an orienteering cross-country sports class — an activity resembling a campus treasure hunt that transformed map navigation into an enjoyable exploration. This class provided a remarkable opportunity to explore the school and share my unique experience in the beautiful landscape. The photos below were almost all taken in class.

Stealing the spotlight, the most captivating scene on campus is undoubtedly the Lakeside Bridge. The grass lawn stretches like a soft blanket, offering an enchanting view. The slopes are carpeted in flowers and plants. A gentle breeze rustles through the grass, and the lake reflects the sky, with little ripples and fluffy clouds drifting by. The fresh breeze carries the scent of the soil, making every blade of grass on the lawn seem to dance happily, creating a peaceful scene. Beyond the visual appeal, the lakeside setting makes people enveloped in a harmonious atmosphere for dining. Intriguing local stories add a unique charm: couples visiting the bridge at night are reportedly more likely to break up, adding a bittersweet beauty to the bridge.

 The Art College emerges as a vibrant space full of creativity and humanity. A narrow path extends into the distance, representing exploration and curiosity. A serene environment unfolds with a lush lawn and scattered trees. Clouds come in various shapes, offering endless imagination and nourishment for the spirit of students. The colorful building possesses a unaccountable charm, capturing the hearts and curiosity of us, particularly evoking in us a childlike wonder. The harmonious blend of the colorful structure, the inviting pathway, and the natural beauty creates a scene that attracts visitors deeply. This artistic haven serves as a place for creativity, fostering deep thoughts and reflections.

  A library is a temple of knowledge. Upon entering the library, the first floor is transformed into a true paradise of learning, featuring a variety of exhibitions. Diverse exhibits make the library an intellectual hub, stimulating curiosity and providing a platform for scholarly exploration. Most of us enjoy studying at the library because it offers a comfortable environment, a quiet atmosphere, and well-equipped facilities. It ignites the academic spark in the hearts of students.

    NDHU has left an indelible mark on me. From the serene lakeside bridge to the dynamic Art College and rich library, every place exudes a unique charm. The orienteering course, initially a stroke of luck, has evolved into the gateway for discovering the hidden gems of the campus, facilitating unforgettable explorations of NDHU's beauty.
